First Aid(I-III)

Our  First Aid training course is designed to enable people designated as a First Aider to carry out appropriate first aid in an emergency situation at work.

At the end of the course the candidate will be able to manage a casualty who is injured at work, or suffers from a serious illness, while waiting for more qualified medical help to arrive.

Our First Aid courses are non-regulated but meet the standards due diligence criteria for what is expected of training providers, including the qualifications expected of trainers and assessors, monitoring and quality assurance systems, teaching and standards of first aid practice, and syllabus content and certification.

Fire Marshal (I-III)

Our  Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Training course is designed to meet the training needs of staff responsible for Fire Safety within the workplace. Participants will be provided with in-depth knowledge of their duties and actions to be followed in the event of fire.

This fully interactive course is only available in-house as it requires practical demonstration of escape routes and understanding of fire protection and detection systems. Participants will also be trained in the theory of correct use of fire extinguishers. Participants will also get the opportunity to use a Fire Extinguisher on our Live Fire Simulator.

Aim
To provide training to staff who intend to fulfil the role of Fire Warden or Fire Marshal within the workplace.

Training Objectives
On completion of this Fire Warden training programme participants will be able to;

  • Understand the chemistry of fire, how it starts and how it spreads
  • Have in-depth knowledge of duties of fire marshals/fire wardens
  • Be able to ensure that fire protection and fire detection equipment is adequately inspected and maintained
  • Be able to assist other members of staff to evacuate safely
  • Be able to call and assist fire brigade
  • Be able to identify fire hazards in their workplace

SAFE WORKING AT HEIGHT TRAINING COURSE

The Work at Height Regulations are very important and rightly so – falls from a height account for more deaths every year in the workplace than any other single issue. Our working at height training course is essential for anyone who ever has to work in any area where there may be a risk of harm or injury from a fall. Not only should the training be given to a wide range of workers in all industries, even those not called upon to work at height regularly, but there should also be reminders placed on record to ensure that working at height training courses at refresher level are also delivered regularly.
